A Mark Designed to Help Consumers Identify Black-Manufactured Products
The Lady in the Circle program helps consumers identify products made by independent Black manufacturers. Approved participants may display the special BOBSA Lady in the Circle mark on qualifying packaging and bottles.
More Than a Logo
The Lady in the Circle gives consumers a recognizable way to identify participating products from independent Black manufacturers.
The program includes promotional support through BOBSA's media and network platforms, helping direct consumers toward Black-owned manufactured products.
Approved BOBSA Manufacturer Mark
Once approved, participating manufacturers may display the Lady in the Circle mark on qualifying products, packaging, bottles and approved promotional materials.
Supporting Black Manufacturers and Their Products
Product Identification
Approved products may display the Lady in the Circle mark to help consumers recognize participating Black-manufactured products.
Promotional Support
Participating manufacturers can receive promotional support through BOBSA's media and network platforms.
Industry Connection
Strengthen the connection between independent Black manufacturers, businesses and consumers throughout the BOBSA network.
UPC Barcode Access
Participating members may also receive access to BOBSA UPC barcode numbers for qualifying product lines.
Current eligible BOBSA manufacturers may be grandfathered into the Lady in the Circle program.
How the Application Process Works
Submit Your Application
Tell BOBSA about your company, products and how you intend to use the Lady in the Circle mark.
BOBSA Reviews Your Products
BOBSA reviews the manufacturer, qualifying products and proposed use of the Lady in the Circle mark.
Receive Approval
Approved participants receive authorization for qualifying products and approved uses of the mark.
