BOBSA is reaching out to inquire about offering a membership to Licensed Beauty and Barber Professionals to participate as new Member-‘Advocates with The Concerned Beauty and Barber Professionals/Politics Beauty and Barber (TheCBBP/PBB).

These new Member-Advocates to TheCBBP/PBB will not only address legislation that affects licensure in their state but work alongside TheCCBP/PBB and BOBSA to create legislation to study whether there exists discrimination in their State’s beauty supply industry, in additionTo address-ins the supply chain challenges faced by black beauty supply stores in the black hair care industry, it is crucial to acknowledge the dominance of Korean distributors in the market. Currently, approximately 90% of all distributors in this industry are Korean-owned, thereby exerting control over the distribution of products to beauty supply stores
