On 7 May The NINE EIGHTEEN NINE STUDIO GALLERY opened an incredible art exhibition entitled “HAIR! - A CELEBRATION”. The exhibition consists of the works of over twenty-five artists based upon the simple theme of human hair. HAIR! is yet another visually exciting installation by curator and gallery owner Joanne Rogers. The collection consists of various mediums, ranging from black and white photography to colorful three-dimensional pieces. This exhibition should be of particular interest to any one in hair related industries seeking to enhance the decor of their homes and business. Due to rebranding, website is currently unavailable.

The NINE EIGHTEEN NINE STUDIO GALLERY is located in the new VISUAL AND PERFORMING ART CENTER (VAPA) , at 700 N. Tryon.
Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00AM - 3:00PM, or by appointment.
Since its January, 2022 opening in this location, the gallery has hosted a number of themed and thoughtful exhibitions designed to have a positive impact on the Charlotte community.
Recent exhibitions have included: “YOUR GOOD NEIGHBOR CLT” and “AMERICA GENTRIFIED” by Charlotte artists Eva Crawford and John Miles
